U100 Sampling system
The equipment is designed for taking 100mm diameter undisturbed samples in clay and other soft formations, The sample tubes are 18" long and are driven into the ground by a sliding hammer with drive head attached, the Drive head containes a ball valve to allow air to be released from the upper part of the sample tube as it is being driven into the ground.
Two types of sampling systmes are currently manufactures
U100 standard system consistes of drive head,sample tube, core catcher and cutting shoe.
U100 Plastic liner system utilizes plastic liner to take the sample, End caps are supplied for plastic liners.
